Palm Tree Music Festival Singapore Debuts This April with John Summit and Alesso

Singapore’s live music scene is poised for a revival as Palm Tree Music Festival makes its long-anticipated debut in the city this April. As first reported by Time Out Singapore, the globally touring electronic music event will headline John Summit, Alesso, Layton Giordani and Marlo, with additional acts expected to be announced.

In recent years, Singapore has said farewell to several major international festivals, including Laneway Festival and Garden Beats. The arrival of Palm Tree Music Festival signals a renewed push to restore the city’s standing on the global dance music circuit.

For this inaugural Singapore edition, John Summit and Alesso return following their sold-out performances in 2023. Fans of Layton Giordani will see the American DJ perform in Singapore for the first time, bringing his high-energy techno sets to local audiences. Marlo joins the lineup as part of a broader showcase of electronic talent.

Palm Tree Music Festival was founded by Norwegian DJ Kygo and his team. What began as a relaxed, sun-drenched gathering in the Hamptons has since evolved into an international lifestyle-driven music brand. Over time, the festival has expanded to destinations such as Aspen, Napa Valley and St. Tropez, building a reputation for pairing globally recognised electronic artists — including Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia and Blu DeTiger — with curated food and beverage offerings, shaded lounge spaces, immersive stage design and intimate workshop-style experiences.

According to the report by Time Out Singapore, ticket sales will begin with an exclusive presale on January 30 at 10am, followed by a general sale on February 2 at 10am. Ticket prices start from $190. Those interested in early access are encouraged to register for the exclusive presale by January 29 at 11.59pm via Ticketek Singapore.

The festival’s Singapore stop forms part of its broader world tour, underscoring the city’s continued appeal as a destination for international touring acts. With established names and first-time performances on the bill, Palm Tree Music Festival’s entry into Singapore reflects a growing appetite for large-scale electronic music experiences in the region.
